Happy New Year!

It's been so long since I've posted, this holiday season flew by in a blur. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and that 2009 finds you in good health and happy spirits. We spent our Christmas with the best gift ever- little William- he is growing like a weed and just fills our hearts with joy.

So despite a punch list a mile long, we're starting to move in. It's so bittersweet considering all that's happened in the last few months, hopefully the bad memories of the former builder will eventually fade- although it's hard to imagine as we are still in the thick of things. We are thankful to have an amazing new builder who's helping finish things out, and are trying to focus on the positive, but we're kind of heavy hearted. Also, I just look around and see everything I did wrong, so frustrating- I nitpick and analyze all the flaws to death. On a happier note- some furniture has been delivered! Here are the most recent photos:

Finishing Touches

It seems like every day when something new goes in, it makes it feel more like home. We're nearing the final stretch!! I love the icing on the cake phase. :)

p.s. some designer blogger has to know the answer to this- I'm looking for some smaller interesting shaped light bulbs I saw at Formations in L.A. I've also read Rose Tarlow describing some- and they sounded like what
I'm looking for: "tiny rounded, bullet-shaped bulbs." Any idea where I can find these? I should just call Formations, but I remember when I asked while there the sales associate didn't know. Any ideas or examples someone can send my way?? Help please :)
